Though born in Detroit, Davis moved to Mississippi during his youth and now fights out of Atlanta, Georgia. Family is central to his motivation as a boxer—he has three children and a wife whom he credits as his inspiration to compete. Powell “The Great Money Powell” was born in 1998 in Hanu, Germany. He trains out of Atlanta Georgia at Musa’s Boxing Academy. He is a versatile fighter but describes himself as a boxer puncher. As an amateur, he won multiple National Championships and was ranked #1 in the USA. He joined Team USA, representing the United States at the World Championships in St. Petersburg Russia where he competed against the best fighters from all around the world. After that, Money turned professional. As a pro, he has competed in Paris, France, and London, England.

He has also fought on national television multiple times and climbed the ranks as a pro. His dream is not only to be remembered as a great fighter but also as a great person. That is why he was given the name “The Great Money Powell”. Money hopes to change the world in a positive way, using boxing as his platform to help people and encourage others to become great in their own way. Ever since Money was a child, he says that knew he was destined for greatness and one day the whole world will see it.
