Scorecard: The Undefeated Continue to Roll, Las Vegas Hustle Dominates

The Boston Butchers and the Atlanta Attack had a hard time during week seven.

Why?

Well, going up against the two undefeated teams in Team Boxing League sure isn’t helpful.

The Las Vegas Hustle, who opened the week with a bout against the Phoenix Fury, achieved their third win of season four on Friday, May 8. Hustle was in control throughout the night in Fort Lauderdale, Florida en route to a 18-9 victory. In the fifth round, Reinier Diaz Salgado threw a left jab to Fury’s Collin McNeill — sending him backwards — ending the round by the way of a  knockout. It was undoubtedly the big moment of the night, as Las Vegas cruised all the way until the end — fighting undeniably.

The Boston Butchers had a tall task competing against the Miami Assassins in Florida. And despite Boston’s Rashidi Ellis reaching his 30th win in TBL, the Assassins were too much — as a combination of great outings up and down the lineup and a big night for Miami’s Sofia Viretti — who entered the night without a win — resulted in a 18-8 final score.

Finally, last but not least, the Atlanta Attack welcomed Philadelphia Smoke but was unable to ruin their undefeated record. The round of the night belonged to Smoke’s Stacia Suttles and Attack’s Ariele Davis — both fighters stepped into the ring without a loss. Suttles and Davis put up two great rounds, but it was Davis who both times — staining Suttles’ record. In the end, Smoke won, 22-11.

This is week seven’s scorecard. Next week’s should be very interesting with the Assassins and the Smoke going up against each other in a battle of the top two teams in Team Boxing League.
