Scorecard: Smoke, Hustle, Snipers All Victorious in the Opening Week of Season 4

The opening week of season four for Team Boxing League has arrived.

Philadelphia Smoke, Las Vegas Hustle and San Antonio Snipers were all victors in their respective matches. While the defending champions of season three, NYC Attitude, LA Elite and Houston Hitmen began the new year with a loss.

The action-packed, round-to-round battles across all three fights were evident. However, two of three fights were decided by a point differential of five points or less, with Smoke winning 19-14, except the Snipers’ outcome against the Houston Hitmen was a blowout, finishing by a score of 25-7.

Jesse Hart for Smoke scored a TO in Round 18 over Attitude’s Rancy Slanger — sticking Slanger in the corner and roughing him up with continuous punches before the referee stepped in to stop the blows. And just like that, four huge points for head coach Bob Kane’s team en route to the win.

Between Hustle and Elite, Kye Brooks dropped Andre Perez during Round 16 — Perez collapsed on the ground, not once, but twice, equating to four points. That moment ended up as a difference maker with Las Vegas winning 17-15.

Last, but not least, in a contest that saw the Snipers take control all throughout the night, Tracey McGruder sent Imaud Louis flat on his back — a knockout. Ever since then, it was all San Antonio — ultimately winning the battle of Texas.

That’s all for week one’s scorecard.
