Scorecard: Las Vegas Hustle Zooms By LA Elite, Atlanta Attack Snaps Losing Streak, San Antonio Snipers Destroy Dallas Enforcers

As every week of Team Boxing League occurs, the end of the regular season grows closer.

Well, for week 12, it was the Nashville Smash returning the favor against the Atlanta Attack for its week two loss by a landslide; the Boston Butchers nearly breaking Philadelphia’s win streak and the Assassins putting a stop to NYC’s momentum, including yet another insane knockout by Luis “King Kong” Ortiz.

Friday, June 19, in St. George, Utah, the Las Vegas Hustle put a smackdown against the LA Elite, despite LA taking a lead during the launch rounds, winning 22-9. The Hustle had a huge middle round, scoring eight points to take the lead and never looked back. Ardreal Holmes Jr. had two big knockdowns that helped propel Las Vegas to its sixth win.

Saturday, June 20 in Atlanta, Georgia, the Atlanta Attack took on the Phoenix Fury and showed that its capable of hanging around with one of the better teams in the league. Phoenix entered the night with a 3-1 record, while Atlanta had lost its last five matches in a row. But that came to an end, featuring a big knockout in round 11 by Jeremy Hill against Marcos Forestal. Earlier on in round two, Ray Ray Robinson gained two points while fighting Alejandro Meniano. The Attack won, 19-16.

Sunday, June 21, in San Antonio, Texas the San Antonio Snipers won another matchup against the Dallas Enforcers, 21-13. And for someone like Obed Bartee El, who has not fought in a TBL contest since Saturday, April 25, “Radar” made a statement — a knockout against Teon Taylor in round 14. The super middleweight is 4-0 on the season after that bout. Adrian Taylor (round seven) and Tracey McGruder (round 19) scored knockdowns in their respective bouts.

Boom. Another scorecard in the books, TBL fans.

Come back next week for the next one.
